With technology becoming an integral part of our lives, the way that we learn is changing dramatically. Long gone are the days where learning a language consisted of pouring over books and repeating grammar exercises. Today, learning a language is easier than ever thanks to the multitude of resources available on the internet and on our smartphones. My passion for languages means that I am constantly looking for new resources and have recently taken an interest in the language learning apps out there at the moment. In the coming weeks I will be taking a look at some of these apps (old and new) and sharing my thoughts with you through video reviews.

People learn languages for many different reasons and whether you are thinking about beginning your foreign language journey or you are interested in adding another language to your collection its important to understand how learning a new language can benefit us.

If you are having a down day or feeling demotivated by your progress just take a look at the list below to remind yourself of why you started your journey.
